About Us

The Zoological Community of Celebes (ZCC) is a non-governmental community that was formed on January 22, 2019. The formation of the ZCC was initiated by 8 young people from Central Sulawesi based on concerns about the lack of relevant institutions or organizations that match their talents and fields of knowledge. which is not yet known to the wider community and also there is no effort from the government to preserve its life but the threat is in vulnerable nature. Therefore, this ZCC was formed with the aim of becoming a forum for young people and fauna activists, especially those who are neglected on the island of Sulawesi. ZCC has three main areas of work, namely research, conservation and education of neglected endemic fauna and their habitats, particularly on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia.
